Ads and Paid Links
We Learn Finance is free to read. Two things help pay for it: ads, and paid links. Here's how each one works, and the rules I follow so neither one changes what I write.
Ads
The site shows ads from Google AdSense. Google chooses which ads appear, so an ad isn't a recommendation from me. See the privacy policy for the cookies they use and how to turn off personalized ads.
Paid links
Some posts link to products or services through a paid link (also called an affiliate or referral link). If you sign up or buy through one, We Learn Finance may earn a commission. It doesn't cost you anything extra.
You'll always know when a link is paid:
- Each paid link is followed by "(paid link)".
- A post with paid links says so near the top, under the date.
My rules for paid links
- I only name things I actually use or would genuinely recommend, paid or not. Most links on the site aren't paid at all.
- A commission never decides what a post recommends.
- The articles stay educational. Nothing here is financial advice; your situation is your own.
There's more in the note on advice and ads on the About page.
